Conoce la programación del Udine Far East Film Festival

Mientras en los festivales y muestras de cine de otras latitudes el cine de oriente brilla por su ausencia, este 21 de abril comienza una nueva edición de uno de los festivales de cine asiático más importantes del mundo. El Udine Far East Film Festival, realizado en la ciudad italiana de Udine, reunirá lo más importante del cine oriental como la ha venido haciendo sin falta cada año.

Survival Family de Shinobu Yaguchi inaugurará el evento. La selección fílmica destaca por su variedad en géneros y temáticas. Peliculas de China, Filipinas, Corea del Sur, Japón y Tailandia. Kung-Fu Yoga - 59%, protagonizada por Jackie Chan, también se presentará así como Shock Wave con la estrella de Hong Kong Andy Lau en el protagónico y quien participó recientemente en La Gran Muralla - 35%. Una exhibición de Branded to Kill - 100% de Seijun Suzuki forma parte del programa, una joya de culto que se exhibiera en la pasada edición del festival de cine de Guanajuato.

¿El único defecto de este festival? No hay ninguna película que represente a la India, lo cual es lamentable. Fuera de ello la selección de cintas es bastante interesante y pueden verla a continuación.
